El Smart Videohub 40 x 40 6G-SDI de Blackmagic Design es un enrutador de formato mixto con 40 entradas 6G-SDI y 40 salidas 6G-SDI para enrutar cualquier combinación de vídeo SD, HD, Ultra HD 4K y DCI 4K. Admite muestreo de color 4:2:2 y 4:4:4 y procesamiento de 10 bits para gradaciones más suaves. Alojado en un marco de 2RU, el Smart Videohub es ideal para su uso tanto en grandes sistemas de transmisión como en mini racks portátiles para producciones en vivo. Una pantalla LCD incorporada permite ver sus fuentes directamente en el enrutador, con botones simples y una perilla giratoria para control. El enrutamiento también se puede controlar mediante paneles remotos dedicados o a través de Ethernet utilizando el software incluido para Mac OS X y Windows. Incluso puedes usar la aplicación para iPad disponible para cambiar la ruta a través de tu red inalámbrica.
